Patti is a Senior Consultant for Foundations for Families. She leads the risk mitigation business practice with a focus on grant writing, continuous program improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements (including federal monitoring reviews for HSP/EHS programs), program management, systems planning, and workforce support and development. Patti started in the field of early childhood as a preschool teacher and for over 25 years has been dedicated to supporting agencies in their efforts to turn theory and regulations into practice to implement the most effective programs for young children and their families.

Patti is a seasoned HSP/EHS professional, content expert, and community child care leader. She brings the perspective of a former OHS TA specialist, including work with the national centers, curriculum/instruction/assessment manager for a state level office of learning, and a multi-site, private center director. Patti has also served as a certified Infant, Toddler, and Preschool CLASS Observer.

Patti earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and has an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
