In light of the recently released second round of Head Start/Early Head Start Recompetition Notices, The Head Start Legal Advisory Service is holding a crucial two-part webinar to helpyour program get ready to write a strong grant application.  The Funding Opportunity Announcements ("FOAs") for recompetition are different than prior FOAs from years past.

 Zoë Beckerman, Esq., of Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, a leader in Head Start and Federal Grants law, will walk you through a sample recompetition FOA and provide insight and best practices.  She'll keep an eye towards the legal requirements you need to meet as you draft your HS/EHS application.Part A will address: Initial Tips, Eligible Entities, Intergovernmental Review, Demonstration of Need, Achieving Early Learning Outcomes, and Past Performance.Part B will address: Staffing/Early Learning Workforce, Organizational Capacity and Governance, Budget and Budget Justification, Phase 2 (including Fiscal Items and Internal Control Compliance), and provide Final Tips.
