School Age Child Care

Research shows that school age child care programs help improve children's self-esteem, social skills and academic performance.  Studies also find that children participating in these programs show a decrease in negative behavior problems.  With so much to offer and so many families counting on them for top quality care, school age child care programs are of vital importance.  We appreciate that to deliver great care, providers must have knowledge of best practices. 

Foundations for Families professional development for school age child care and extended day staff is aligned with the standards of the National Afterschool Association (NAA) Standards for Quality Care.  We deliver relevant, interactive trainings designed specifically for adult learners.  Choose from topics related to

Camp Connect

Camp Connect chats and workshops are designed for camp program directors with 1-3 years experience, professionals who would like to become summer program directors or staff at a school or organization that is expanding to include a new summer program, or experienced directors who are interested in refining their programs.  Everyone is welcome in the conversation!
