HEAD START / EARLY HEAD START
Professional Development
targeted, engaging, affordable
Teacher training is essential to positive child outcomes. The quality of care offered to very young children can be significantly improved through high quality professional development for early childhood staff. Foundations for Families' professional development training is focused on supporting recognition and application of best practices in the field of early childhood education as well as the requirements of Federal Performance Standards.
In response to recent HS / EHS reauthorization revisions, Foundations for Families now offers the full 120-hour CDA training course, which follows the requirements indicated by the National Council for Professional Recognition.
Our trainings are engaging, informative and designed to suit a variety of adult learning styles. We provide training at our Alexandria office or at local centers at times and on days most convenient to participants. Our enthusiastic, dedicated training team offers trainings in English and in Spanish.
